This class is for those of us who feel ourselves faltering in the simultaneous mode of interpretation. Perhaps we are just starting out. Or maybe we are experienced enough that we can get by in simultaneous, but we start to flounder if the speaker begins to speed up. Perhaps numbers make us uncomfortable, or technical speeches make us cringe. Whatever the case may be, this workshop will introduce a plethora of exercises designed to target key weaknesses and bring your interpreting to the next level. We will break down our interpretations, strategize solutions, and implement them so that you feel a new sense of confidence in this mode of interpreting.
